As of 5th of May Robert Lewandowski’s fans can buy one of a kind shoes inspired by achievements and style of Poland’s best football player. RL9 first ever sneakers have been prepared jointly by 4F brand and the player. Buyers will also receive Robert Lewandowski’s handwritten signature!
The outcome of the latest 4F×RL9 cooperation refers to Robert’s sport achievements which have won him global fame. To stress the timeless character of his successes, 4F brand opted for classical design in modern package. After all, classics will always be everlasting and inspiring.
Simultaneously, thanks to modern design and minimalism, the sneakers are unisex with their universal look suiting both women’s as well as men’s outfits.
- We designed the shoes with the player’s style and sport achievements in mind. Hence, five out of nine eyelets have different colour – we wanted to mark Robert Lewandowski’s record of five goals scored in just nine minutes during FC Bayern Munich match against VfL Wolfsburg on 22 September 2015 - says Mateusz Rzadkosz, Senior Footwear Designer OTCF.
The first model of 4F×RL9 shoes incorporates also elements from the world of professional sport – lines on the outsole refer to the arrangement of studs in professional football boots. The shoes midsole is made of comfortable X-PERIENCE foam ensuring shock absorption typical for a sport shoe and thus convenience of Robert Lewandowski’s fans.
- It was a totally new and extremely interesting challenge, but also huge pleasure to cooperate in designing the first ever model of 4F×RL9 shoes. All the more I’m pleased that its final outcome has exceeded my expectations – the shoes are comfortable and they look great. I’m convinced that they will appeal to all sneakers and football fans - says Robert Lewandowski.
Each of the first 200 pairs of 4F×RL9 shoes has its unique number. The special edition includes 100 black and 100 white pairs. Their exceptionality is additionally stressed by the football player’s hand-written autograph attached to every pair.
