Three thousand pieces of clothing were donated to the most affected residents of the Kłodzko Valley. The 4F brand has launched a campaign to help flood victims.

Fleeces, softshell jackets, thermal underwear, and a wide range of cotton garments have already arrived in Bystrzyca Kłodzka, from where they will be distributed to residents of the towns most affected by the flood — Lądek-Zdrój, Bystrzyca Kłodzka, and Stronie Śląskie — as well as to volunteer firefighters providing aid to those impacted. Distribution of the donated clothing will be handled by the Masyw Śnieżnika Local Fund, which has been actively supporting local communities in the Kłodzko Valley for 27 years. Additionally, the 4F brand has invited its customers to join in the relief effort. From September 20 to October 31, 1% of revenue from in-store, online, and app sales will support initiatives related to rebuilding Lower Silesia and addressing the aftermath of the floods.

4F clothing for those affected

Last Friday, a shipment arrived in the municipality of Bystrzyca Kłodzka, located in the Kłodzko district, containing nearly 3,000 pieces of 4F clothing worth over PLN 210,000.

The donation from 4F and the 4F Pomaga Foundation was received by the Masyw Śnieżnika Local Fund, a public benefit organization coordinating aid for flood victims, including those in towns completely devastated by the water: Bystrzyca Kłodzka, Stronie Śląskie, and Lądek-Zdrój. Through this organization, 4F products were delivered to children in care and education centers in Kłodzko, senior citizens from the region, and thermal underwear was distributed to members of local volunteer fire departments.

Additionally, OTCF has launched a campaign in both brick-and-mortar and online stores, encouraging customers to participate. From September 20 until the end of October, 1% of all revenue will go to the 4F Pomaga Foundation, which will allocate the funds toward rebuilding flood-damaged areas — primarily in the field of sports infrastructure. The same mechanism will be applied in the Slovak market, where the 4F brand is rapidly growing. Slovakia is also facing flood recovery challenges.

– We are deeply moved by the scale of the tragedy that has affected the residents of Lower Silesia. The values embraced by these local communities are especially close to our Polish brand – tourism, connection with nature, and active recreation in the beautiful surroundings of mountain landscapes. By offering material aid, we want to support people who had to flee their homes in a rush, leaving personal belongings behind. Using sports terminology, we can say that helping flood victims is a marathon, not a sprint. Through our ongoing store campaign, we want to show that by acting together and in solidarity, we can contribute to rebuilding these devastated towns – says Igor Klaja, CEO of OTCF S.A. and founder of the 4F brand.

The clothing donated by OTCF S.A. to the Kłodzko Valley will be distributed by the Masyw Śnieżnika Local Fund, which was founded in 1997 after the millennium flood struck the region. Although the fund was created 27 years ago under extremely difficult circumstances, it has continuously worked to improve the lives of local communities through grant, scholarship, educational, and relief programs.

– We are extremely grateful that the 4F brand is once again sharing its kindness with our region. The help we received is invaluable, and the speed with which it reached us is truly fitting for a sports brand. We’ve been active in our community for many years and know the needs of its residents well. Within a few hours, we prepared a list of the most essential items — both in terms of type and sizes — and just a few dozen hours later, we received the first shipment of clothing – said Dorota Komornicka, President of the Masyw Śnieżnika Local Fund.

The beneficiaries of 4F’s aid also included volunteer fire departments from Lower Silesia, which received 125 sets of thermal underwear.

– The entire Lower Silesia region first fought to protect cities and villages from being flooded, and now faces the challenge of cleaning up after the deluge. Invaluable support has come from volunteer firefighters. We still have many weeks — if not months — of hard work ahead to deal with the aftermath of the floods. That’s why we’re grateful to all the companies, including the 4F brand, for the assistance they’ve provided. It is essential in equipping and protecting our volunteers for the upcoming autumn and winter seasons – said Przemysław Linke, Deputy Mayor of the Podgórzyn municipality and active participant in the flood crisis task force.

The 4F Pomaga Foundation was established in 2020 to promote physical activity among children and youth while providing essential support. Its flagship initiative is the “Within Reach of Sport” program, aimed at building multifunctional sports fields, especially in underprivileged regions of Poland. Under the “Sports Dreams” program, the Foundation funds winter holidays for children from orphanages, family support units, and foster care systems. The Foundation also actively supports the rehabilitation of children and youth with disabilities, especially through cooperation with “Futbolowa Banda” – a Warsaw-based football academy for children with physical and intellectual disabilities.
